• Otik has systemic action
• Otik is an Acetyl CoA Carboxylase (ACCase) Inhibitor
• Otik is absorbed by the leaves and stem of the weed plants
• Otik is rapidly translocated within the plants and accumulate in the growing parts/meristematic tissues.
• Otik stops the synthesis of fatty acids/lipids in the plant essential for the growth, thereby the growth of the weed is stopped within 48 hours yellowing of leaves starts within 7-14 days followed by browning and dry-up
• The complete result can be shown 14-21 days after application
